How to register an account on Syla

You’ll need to first register an account on Syla and then add HardBlock as a data source.


  1. Go to Syla and click Sign Up to register an account.

After sign up you’ll be prompted to add your first data source.


  1. Start typing “HardBlock” (1) in the search bar.
  2. Then select the HardBlock (2) data source.

  1. You can use the File Import option to import your HardBlock Transaction History CSV.

How to import your Transaction History CSV into Syla


It’s easy to export your Transaction History CSV from your HardBlock account and import into Syla:


  1. Login to HardBlock.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Statements (1).
  3. Under the Transaction History Report section, click Email Report (2).
  4. Check your email and download the attached file.
  5. Upload your Transaction History CSV to Syla and click import.

Note: Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals are default classified as purchases/sales. You might need to reclassify them as transfers if that is in fact what they are. Otherwise, your tax calculation will not be correct.
